Why not National Anthem in Temples, Mosque & Church?

"Shouldn't #NationalAnthem be played in temples,churches and mosques before prayers begin?" asked maverick director Ram Gopal Varma through his twitter page.

Earlier he stated that "Respect has to be felt and if it is enforced it will be faked which would be even more disrespectful to the #NationalAnthem". Later he went on asking why National Anthem should be restricted to only cinema halls but why shouldn't every shop ask customer to see a video of it before entering shop.

Other day Supreme Court has made it clear that every movie theatre should play National Anthem at start of a film and every person inside the theatre should stand.
