Ram Gopal Varma addressed the Fans of NT Rama Rao with a video message to convey his true intentions behind taking up a project like 'Lakshmi's NTR'. He opined NTR lived a life worth remembering and earned permanent place in people's heart.
The Maverick Filmmaker dismissed the version that 'Lakshmi's NTR' will be from Lakshmi Parvati's point of view. He claimed to have met servants in NTR's house, Government Officials who worked with NTR, Lakshmi Parvati and TDP Leaders to know about the key incidents which took place in the late 80s & mid 90s.
According to Varma, 'Lakshmi's NTR' is all about true incidents. NTR showed utmost respect for Lakshmi Parvati in the interview given by him few days before his days. So, Insulting Lakshmi Parvati is like insulting NTR.
RGV explained Lakshmi Parvati was invited as the Guest for Today's launch event out of respect for NTR's Wife. He preferred a Tagline 'Asalu Katha' for 'Lakshmi's NTR' and made an open challenge that only his movie have the blessings of NTR no matter how many NTR biopics might be made.
RGV had the darshan of Lord Balaji in Tirumala along with Lakshmi Parvati. While Varma claimed he sought the blessings of almighty for attaining the power to make a film like 'Lakshmi's NTR', Lakshmi Parvati believes Ramu changed a lot as a person citing the shift from atheist to devotee. May be, She forgot that Varma does anything for the sake of publicity.
