By: Tupaki Desk | 9 May 2017 12:46 PM GMTOn twitter, day in and day out, Ram Gopal Verma finds himself in the midst of some or the other conversation which he could have completely avoided. He yet times does things just to prove his existing, one believes.
Going into the details, Shekar Kapur, the Indian director who saree to dream of a Hollywood career and achieve it, announced a movie with Shannon Lee, Bruce Lee's daughter as co-writer. She will also be a part of production. For this big budget ode to the famous Martial arts champion, the team is quietly searching for an actor who looks like Bruce Lee for the movie.
Now, the worshipper of Bruce Lee, RGV took over the baton that no one is offering to him and tweeted
"Just because of my devotional worship of Bruce Lee I am going to make his biopic and release it the same time as Shekar Kapur's authorised one. I have nothing against Shekar Kapoor who I admire immensely but it's just my obsessive fascination for Bruce Lee. In spite of closeness of family and brilliance of Shekar. I believe only I can do justice to do his biopic."
Well, for a director of his caliber, this is just a cheap shot at publicity and Shekar Kapur. Hope he understands these kind of tricks are too old for people to fall for them anymore. He already announced and released a trailer with a young martial artist, a girl performing Martial arts like Bruce Lee quoting it as a tribute to master. What happened to that, RGV?
