Ram's 'RED' To Be The First Big Theatre Release Of Tollywood Post Lockdown!

After a blockbuster like 'ismart Shankar', energetic hero Ram Pothineni acted in an action thriller titled âREDâ where he played two different roles. This film was all set to hit the screens in April but the Corona lockdown forced the makers to postpone it.
Over the past 6 months, the film's producers received a lot of offers from the OTT platforms. They tried to lure the makers into selling 'RED' for big money but they stayed firm and waited for the theatres to reopen. Now, the theatres are finally going to reopen on October 15th with 50% occupancy.
News is that Ram's film is going to be the first big film that will be releasing in theatres post lockdown. The team is reportedly planning to release it on Diwali which is on November 9th. With only half of the theatres going to be filled, it is to be seen how the producers and distributors plan to release this film.
'RED' is directed by Kishore Thirumala and produced by Sravanti Ravi Kishore. It based on the Tamil film 'Thadam'. Nivetha Pethuraj, Malavika Sharma and Amritha Aiyer are the heroines in this flick.
