Media Baron Ramoji Rao has given a ray of hope for small time filmmakers to prove their talent. ETV Channel will allotted the prime time slot on Sunday's to screen films which failed to reach out larger section of audience. This slot which was titled as 'ETV Hand Picked Movie' will be from 2 PM to 5 PM. The channel will share the revenue earned through advertisements from this slot with filmmakers.
'ETV Hand Picked Movie' will kickstart from June 8th. The first film to be screened in 'Billa Ranga'. Others film selected for tho slot were 'Parampara', 'Premanchali' and 'Idega Aasapadav'.
ETV's initiative will encourage filmmakers to make more content-driven films. Thanks to Ramoji Rao and his team for thinking out of the box! Hope the creative people make complete use of this opportunity!!!
