Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is coming with a movie after an year and the fans of the actor are expecting him to give a big hit this time.
Maruthi has been delivering hits with his own comic formula and this time too he seems to have depended on that more.
If you observe the trend of a highly egoistic lady head of the family is brought back to the earth by making her lose all the attitude by the yong male, started with Gundamma Katha but it became a commercial formula with Balachander's Bomma Borusa.
After that film, we could see the formula being used by other heroes to some extent. But when Chiranjeevi re-invented to end the "Red" mark revolutionary movies, with Atthaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu, every hero of that generation tried a film like that.
We saw Balakrishna acting in Anasuyamma Gari Alludu, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, Nagarjuna did Gharana Bullodu, Allari Alludu and Venkatesh did Bobbili Raja.
In all these movies, the strong lady characters became the key for mass audiences to get heavily imp impressed. Vani Sri and Sarada, to some extent Jayachitra became close to mass audiences in these films.
But when the formula became routine directors stopped making them. NTR tried in Naa Alludu, but Ramya Krishnan character was not powerful enough and movie did not present the formula well too..
Now, Ramyakrishnan has a big hit like Baahubali and in the films, her character Sivagami has become a huge plus and hit with audiences too. So, this time if her character is written strong enough, we can expect festival days to be help theaters put up houseful boards.
We have to wait and see, how will Naga Chaitanya and Ramyakrishnan chemistry as Alludu-Attha will work out?!
