No One Approached Me: Rana

There were reports in the media for the past few days that Rana Daggubati is being considered for the negative role in Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy'. Everybody knows that Rana and Ram Charan are childhood friends and they are very close to each other. Rana has huge respect for Chiranjeevi. Apart from all these thinngs, whether Rana is doing this film or not ?
When the same question was asked to Rana, he said that "Why would I leave a film which is produced by my friend Ram Charan.. and acted by Chiranjeevi uncle? No one approached me with a character in 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy'. If I'm approached, I will definetely do it". 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy' is under pre-production now. Even though story is finalized, writers are working on dialogue version. But they have not started casting for the film. As the movie is a historical one, they are doing it cautiously. Rana might get a call from them when they start finalizing the cast.
If Rana joins the team of 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy'.. the project will get a national appeal for sure. 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy' is based on the story of freedom fighter who fought the British in 1840. Surender Reddy is the director of the film.
