Rana Daggubati has achieved National fame along with his Baahubali co-stars, Prabhas, Anushka and Director, S.S. Rajamouli. As Bhallaladeva he has been a phenomenal villain in the series. Post that he has been trying different genres in Telugu Cinema. He did a war at the sea movie, Ghazi and hit the bullseye at box office with Nene Raju Nene Mantri in the month of August, this year.
Now, the actor is busy with his Hindi, Tamil commitments and we hear one of the films will release in Telugu too. But the biggest scoop is that he will playing a scientist in a movie named, Whistle - The mystery of a Phantom Ship. Well, you guessed it right, the movie is an English Production. London based production house is bankrolling this movie and it will be his first big Hollywood production.
The movie is about the ship, Whistle that submerged into Arabian Sea near Saurashtra, Gujarat in 1888. Dhwanil Mehta is directing this movie and Rana, will be playing the scientist who uncovers the mystery of how this ship has sunk. As the technicalities and mysteries are interwoven smartly Rana wanted to be a part of this movie. Rana did join the team for script reads in London and soon he will join the workshop and rehearsals too. As he is busy with his next film, he will finish it off and then join this mysterious adventure film as per the reports.
