Rana Daggubati debuted to Telugu Film Industry with a film like 'Leader'. Rana grabbed the attention of everybody with his first film. Even though Rana has got good recognition, no film maker came forward to do a commercial film with him. Even Rana never tried to project himself as a commerical hero. But one needs success more than anything else for a long career.

'Baahubali 2' released recently and Rana is getting very good appreciation for his performance. But what next for Rana ? Meanwhile Prabhas is doing 'Saaho' to repeat the success of 'Baahubali'. But Rana is doing 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' in the direction of Teja. This movie is made in the political backdrop. Can Rana achieve huge success with this kind of Political drama ?
Rana's last film 'Ghazi' was appreciated by critics.. collections wise it's was not so impressive as per the trade pundits. That gives rise to a feeling that Rana is not cashing on the Baahubali craze fully. What if he continues villain roles rather than doing hero charcters for sometime? Some opine that Rana is not planning as his 'Baahubali' co-star Prabhas planning his career.
