'Ghazi', the film everyone have been waiting for, hits the screens Tomorrow. Premiere Shows held at all the major cities fetched rave reviews and there is immense positive buzz around the project.
What comes as huge surprise is the fact that neither Theatrical Rights nor Satellite Rights of 'Ghazi' were sold out of far! PVP Cinema & Matinee Entertainment have opted for an own release in all the territories. Why is it so?
Makers spent a bomb on 'Ghazi' which require extensive pre-production, submarine set and months long post-production involving high-end CG Work. The offers from Distributors weren't flattering as they believed it's a film which appeals for audience of A Centers alone. If the rights were sold out prior to the release, Producers wouldn't have received table profits for the kind of risk they have taken. Hence, They opted for 'own release' in India & Overseas believing in their product. In the Hindi Circuit, There is an deal between Producers & Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
If the Box Office revenues were good enough, Then Producers will jump in joy as Satellite Rights fetch them returns which can increase the profit multifold. Hopefully, A large number of audience throng theaters to watch this first-of-its-kind movie on Indian Screen.
