Rana Is Heart-Broken About That!

Ram Prasad maintains one of those few accounts in Telugu Twitter where we see love for cinema and books. He has a great friendship with Nagarjuna and Akkineni family, Daggubati family too.

Many got to know that he runs Walden book stores in Hyderabad after he announced Begumpet branch closure, which was their first store.

This information even bigger attention when Rana shared his memories with the store and expressed grief over one of the early branches coming to such an end.

Ram Prasad tweeted,

''With A Heavy Heart & Wonderful Memories, Today We Bid Adieu.. To Our Begumpet Branch Of Walden Bookstore.
Thank You Booklovers From All Over India !
We Are Grateful For Your Support For Nearly Three Decades!
We Continue To Operate Our Two Branches At Banjara Hills & Gachibowli!"

Rana quote Rted with this comment,

"Ramu uncle we share the same feeling. Walden is a huge part of my childhood. A part of most things I know today. Couldn’t imagine growing up without it. Heartbreaking. More power to you and the other branches...."

Well, these days book stores are facing huge threat of technological advancement. We praise Trivikram Srinivas's words about Sirivennala Seetharamasastry when he said that he felt fulfilment about learning the meaning of a big word at Library on his own.

Today, we just google, or use Kindle to read. But that paperback smell, that rare occasion of finding the best book, the pleasure of reading is slowly vanishing from us. We ask for gist even when we have to go through Terms and Conditions of a contract these days and even news reports are to be written accordingly.

While adhering to popular choice is great for existence and new technological advancement is a necessity, some old world simple pleasures shouldn't go away from future generations too.
