Rana & Sai Pallavi's 'Virata Parvam' Finally Gets A Release Date!

Tollywood macho man Rana Daggubati's 'Virata Parvam' has finally gotten a release date. The film which was directed by 'Needi Naadi Oke Katha' fame Venu Udugla and features Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in the main roles. Produced by Suresh Productions, the film generated a lot of buzz last year with its songs and teasers. People were eagerly waiting for its release but there is no news about it over the past few months.
The makers have now released an official update which reveals that the film is going to hit the screens on 1st July. The announcement poster is quite absorbing as Rana and Sai Pallavi appear to be in a hurry. They are running in the forest whilst holding hands. While Rana looks aggressive with a gun in his hand, Sai Pallavi looks scared.
Rana plays the role of Comrade Ravanna in this movie which is inspired by the true events of the 1990s. He writes poetry in this film and his pen name is Aranya. Sai Pallavi plays the role of Vennela who is a big admirer of Ravanna's poetry. The film also has an amazing star cast comprising Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand, Benarji, Nagineedu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Devi Prasad and others.
Dani Sanchez Lopez is the cinematographer along with Divakar Mani. Suresh Bobbili scored the music and Raju Sundaram is the choreographer while Stephen Richard along with Peter Hein composed the fights. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Suresh Babu, Venu Udugula made this film with a Naxalite backdrop. There are good expectations on this intense love story and let us see how the film turns out.
