Another big budget periodic drama is announced in Bollywood. After the mammoth hit of Baahubali, all the filmmakers are trying to make movies in that range. All the Bollywood filmmakers are also showing much interest in the periodic dramas. Now this periodic drama is bankrolled by Yash Raj Films.
Yash Raj Films through a video revealed that they are going to produce the upcoming movie Shamshera in Hollywood range. They not only introduced the logo of the film but also the getup of the hero. One might not guess the hero as soon as they see the picture, but the lead actor is none other than lover boy Ranbir Kapoor. Karan Malhotra is helming this project. The movie is gearing up to go on floors by the end of this year. Except for the hero, none of the characters and the actors is known. Even the heroine is also not officially announced.
We can definitely say that Ranbir Kapoor getup will be the highlight of the film and he is impressing the audience with his new look. His long hair, the sword behind him, are hinting that Ranbir will be playing a warrior role. Ranbir also signed another periodic movie Brahmastra bankrolled by Karan Johar. If at least one of these two movies becomes a hit, then the hero can once again get back on to the success track.
