The market of South Indian films has increased considerably in the past few years. There was a time when 100 crore gross was a distant dream but it is quite common nowadays. If we look at films that have grossed more than Rs100 crores, a total of 33 films featured in the list. Ram Charan's latest release 'Rangasthalam' is the latest one to join in this list.
The movie has reportedly gross more than Rs. 102 crores in four days making it the 33rd film to enter 100 crore gross club. Needless to say, 'Baahubali' two parts are leading in the list followed by Shankar-Rajinikanth film 'Robo'. Chiranjeevi re-entry film 'Khaidi No. 150 is at 6 position in the list with Rs.164 crore gross. Going by the collections trend of 'Rangasthalam', trade analysts are expecting the film to beat the collections of 'Khaidi No. 150'. So the movie is aiming the sixth rank in the list.
