Rashmika Getting Heavily Trolled For Her Role!

The career of a heroine is quite different from that of a hero, especially in the South Indian industry. They have to take up zero substance roles too if they want to reach the top league. They get a chance to choose good roles after they reach a certain stage in their career. Until then, they have to comprise during the initial stages of their career in terms of roles.
Heroine Rashmika Mandanna too accepted such a spineless role in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. Right from that starting of her career, Rashmika was offered meaty roles in all her films. She got a lot of appreciation for her performance in 'Geetha Govindham' and 'Dear Comrade'. But she did a role of absolutely zero substance in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' just for the sake of acting alongside a star hero.
There is zero scope for her to perform in Mahesh's film and her character Samskruti's only aim in the film is to woo the hero and hug him at the first chance she gets. Rashmika is being heavily trolled for acting in such a role.
Though such heroine characters are normal in commercial flicks, Rashmika clearly said during the promotions of 'Geetha Govindham' that she cannot do films where the heroine comes before songs and disappear immediately. Vijay Devarakonda who was sitting next to her at that time said that she would face severe criticism when she does such a role in the future for a star hero film. Well! His words definitely came true now.
