Called as a National Crush by many Rashmika Mandanna has become popular across Indian in recent times. While her cuteness won a lot of hearts, her movies like 'Pushpa' and 'Mission Majnu' too made her a fan favorite in the North. She will soon be seen romancing Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal'. While she is reaching places in the North, the actress also gets a lot of hate and criticism.

She has had her own share of controversies ever since Rashmika began her acting career. Her statements during press meets and interviews landed her in a lot of trouble and she is one of the very few heroines who has a lot of haters too. She is often subjected to a lot of trolls. Recently, she endorsed the famous Mcdonald's brand and the advertisement is getting a lot of views. The brand has turned off the comments section in order to avoid any kind of criticism.

Apparently, Rashmika claimed to be a vegetarian and has been recognized as Vegan Entrepreneur as well. But she was seen eating a non-veg burger and chicken wings in the Mcdonald's advertisement which made some netizens question her double standards and false statements. There are people who are posting comments like "Rashmika always lies through her teeth" and another person said, "Now at least understand why we kanndigas dont like her. Because she changes her words here and there many times…." The audience are now linking this to the time when people asked the Kannada film industry to ban Rashmika due to not crediting Rakshit and Rishab Shetty for her success.

As we know, celebrities are often watched keenly and every mistake of theirs will be magnified heavily. Also, one needs to understand that a star who endorses a brand may not use it in real life. Though it is quite bad, it is the way things are nowadays. People have to understand that one should not take everything quite seriously.
