Rashmika Responds About Her 'Mr. Show-Off' Remark On 'KGF' Star!
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Jan 2022 12:24 PM GMTRavishing Kannada beauty Rashmika cannot stay out of the news. One time it is about her dinner meeting with her friend Vijay Deverakonda in Mumbai and it is about her too short outfit while walking out of the airport the other time. She becomes a trend for her dance step in âSaami Saamiâ song and she gets trolled for doing the same step at film events. This way, the media doesnât leave any kind of news about her and makes the most out of it.
Recently, an old interview during her early days in Kannada Industry came back to bite her. When the interviewer questioned, âWho, according to you, is the Mr. Show-Off in the Kannada film industry?â, Rashmika instantly answered âYashâ.
This earned her the wrath of Rocking Star fans who are frustrated with the frequent postponement of âKGF 2â. She is subjected to heavy trolls on social media and some of them were quite hurtful too. The âChaloâ actress decided to answer them and wrote, â..extremely unhappy and disturbed by this sudden turn of events. I have no disrespect towards Yash Sir or anyone. In fact on many occasions, I have expressed my admiration towards Yash Sir, his talent and how he has inspired everyone, including myself. The media has sadly ignored that I mentioned Santhu Straight Forward as the movie that I enjoyed most at that time. When you edit and take just two lines from the most non serious part of the show and give it spin... the context is lost. That is really sad.â
Adding to that, she stated, âIt wasn't a statement I made but it was a game of rapid fire and never in my dreams I had any idea that this would be taken so seriously ignoring my admiration and all the positive statements I had made about him. I am sorry if I have hurt any of your feelings. I did not intend to. My upbringing will never let me do that. I request everyone to have a look at my other interviews and fb lives where I have appreciated Yash sir's work and when asked I have also expressed my desire to work with him.â
Currently, Rashmika is working on âPushpa 2â, âAadavaallu Meeku Joharluâ, âGoodbyeâ and âMission Majnuâ. Despite gaining fame in the Kannada film industry, Rashmika doesnât have any offers in her home state as of now.
