Balayya's Heroine buys rights of Classic

K Balachander's tragic love story 'Ek Duuje Ke Liye' (1981) staring Kamal Haasan and Rati Agnihotri became a cult film. The film was released in Telugu & Tamil with the title 'Maro Charitra'. Saritha played Rati's part in the regional versions.
Reportedly, Actress Rati Agnihotri (Dictator fame) obtained the remake rights of 'Ek Duuje Ke Liye'. She is been to produce the remake by casting her son Tanuj Virwani as the lead.
Changes will be made to the script to suit the sensibilities of Today's youth. This project might be launched only in 2017.
Will the script which proved lucky for Rati Agnihotri work for his Son as well? Would Rati Agnihotri too plays a role in the remake? Wait & Watch!!
