Change in the cinematographers in big-ticket films, whether it is dropping them from the film or cinematographers themselves walking out of the project has become a common trend these days. 'Jai Lava Kusa' team has signed cinematographer Muraleedharan who worked for films like 'P.K' when they started the shoot.. somehow he walked out and Chota K.Naidu replaced him later.
Koratala signed Madhie for 'Janata Garage' initially who has also worked for Koratala's another film 'Srimanthudu'. But Madhie dropped out of the film later and Thiru replaced him. Renowned cinematographer Ravi Varman was initially signed for Megastar Chiranjeevi film 'Sye Raa' but Ratnavelu replaced him even before the shoot commenced.
The latest buzz from the Film Nagar says that cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran opted out of Koratala Siva-Mahesh Babu film 'Bharath Ane Nenu' for unknown reasons. 'Janata Garage' cinematographer Thiru said to have replaced him. The director and cinematographer should have good understanding otherwise the output will suffer. If they have sync then the output will be obviously good. Producers should pay full remuneration to cinematographers when they are replaced in the middle of the film. It is a burden to the producers but they have no choice but to support the directors.
