No Triple Role For Ravi Teja In Amar Akbar Anthony?
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Jun 2018 12:15 PM GMT2018 seems to be a disappointing year for Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. Both Touch Chesi Chudu and Nela Ticket have failed miserably. Coming back after a hiatus of two years his Raja The Great was a hit. So, one believed that he would continue with the success streak and try something unique. But, that was not to be. He has gone back to his routine mass formula. So, the two films he released had flopped badly.
Now he is doing Amar Akbar Anthony with director Srinu Vaitla, who too needs a hit very badly to breathe life into his directorial career. Since the name was Amar Akbar Anthony, one thought Ravi Teja will do three roles in the film. But, now it emerges that Ravi Teja fakes three different identities till the intermission and then he gives a twist to the story by saying that there's only one and not three Ravi Tejas.
Now, this twist is not something new. Bobby tried this with Ravi Teja in Power. For three-fourths of the film, there were two Ravi Tejas. Suddenly, it gets revealed that there one, not two Ravi Tejas.
Old and tried storyline, three back-to-back disasters for the director, two flops for the hero and faded and jaded Ileana as heroine - so many negatives for this film. Will it hit the gold or will this too go down the drain?
