Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja took a long break of 2 years from the movie industry. Not even a single movie of him got released last year. The actor has opened up about the reason behind this in an interview. He stated that in this gap, he went on a tour to the Europe and did many roadtrips, and the climatic conditions and food there helped him become even more fit.
After a long back Raviteja is marking his come back with Raja the Great movie which is gearing up to hit the theatres on October 18th. Ravi Teja's role is blind in the film. When asked about the reason he accepted to play blind, Ravi Teja stated that the way Anil Ravipudi narrated the script excited him. To perform the role well the actor visited some blind schools and observed the students there. He stated that he feels very proud to do such character. After watching the trailer of the movie some people commented that the movie resembles Hollywood film Blind Fury but Ravi Teja stated that both the movies are different.
Initially Raviteja was against of his son acting at such a young age. But as Anil ravipudi insisted, he agreed to let his son Mahadhan to play the younger version of Ravi Teja in the movie. Interestingly Ravi Teja was not present on sets when Mahadhan is doing the scenes. "I saw only a couple of scenes" stated Ravi Teja. This Kick actor is very confident that the movie will become one of the biggest hits in his career.
