Khiladi, a sleek action thriller marks the coming together of Ravi Teja, Ramesh Varma, Koneru Satyanarayana, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Dimple Hayati. The film is gearing up for its theatrical release on the 11th of February. The makers have kickstarted the promotional campaign already and as a part of the same, the two female leads in the film Dimple Hayati and Meenakshi Chaudhary spoke with media and opened up about working pn Khiladi and pairing with Ravi Teja.

Meenakshi Chaudhary said "Working with Ravi Teja has been a delightful experience. The female lead characters in his films often have scope for performance oriented portrayal. As for the lip lock scene shown in the trailer, it needs to be noted that Khiladi is a commercial entertainer and we had to include a few mass-pleasing elements to drive the narrative.

It is all a part and parcel of commercial filmmaking. I got a strong character and delivered to the best of my capabilities. It was really comfortable to work with Dimple. She is very self confident and moves along nicely with everyone. Khiladi has an ensemble star cast and I got to learn from the very best with this film."

Dimple said "Being a Telugu actress, I always wanted to prove myself on the big stage and Khiladi has provided me with just that. My character has equal prominence when compared to the protagonist, played by Ravi Teja. I was very excited soon after listening to the story and I readily came on board. After the item song in Gaddalakonda Ganesh, it was reported that I would be doing only item numbers in the future.

But that isn't the case. I am always looking for good characters and that is the reason why I pateirtly waiting for a good offer to come my way. After Khiladi director, Ramesh Varma approached me with the script, I was sure that this is the film that I should be a part of. I am confident that this film will hit the bullseye."

As mentioned, Khiladi is hitting the silver screens across the globe on the 11th of this month. The film is riding high on buzz.
