Re-release: Allu Arjun's Film Fails to Create Buzz Among Fans
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 April 2023 8:31 PM ISTAllu Arjun's Desamuduru, a romantic action entertainer directed by Puri Jagannadh, is all set for its re-release tomorrow in the Telugu Film Industry. However, the advance bookings for the film have been poor, which is causing concerns for the fans of the actor.
Typically, bookings for re-releases start with a few shows, which are then increased based on demand. But in the case of Desamuduru, there is currently no demand for additional shows or screens. Initially, the re-release of the film was planned for Allu Arjun's birthday on April 8th, but there was confusion due to several new releases on April 7th.
Nevertheless, fans were elated to hear that their favorite hero's film was finally being re-released. The re-releases trend in the Telugu film industry started with Mahesh Babu's Pokiri, followed by Pawan Kalyan's Jalsa/Khushi and Ram Charan's Orange, which all garnered massive audiences and numbers.
The onus is now on Allu Arjun's Desamuduru to perform similarly to prove the actor's super stardom. The film, which also marked the debut of Hansika Motwani, was produced by DVV Danayya, with Pradeep Rawat, Chandra Mohan, Subbaraju, Kovai Sarala, and Ali in key roles.
The late Chakri composed the music for the film. As the release date draws near, fans are hoping for Desamuduru to recreate its magic and showcase Allu Arjun's star power once again.
