It is known that Actor-turned-Politician Pawan Kalyan hasn't graced 'Memu Saitham - We Love Vizag' telethon organised by Telugu Film Industry to raise funds for Cyclone Hudhud Victims. There is a specific reason behind his decision and the real facts were disclosed here...
The very idea of 'Raising fund from people and giving it back to them' didn't excite Pawan Kalyan and hence he dis-associted himsef with the event. Had if artistes, technicians, directors and producers voluntarity contributed Rs 1 lakh per person, The final figure would have been much bigger than 'Memu Saitham' fund.
