Reason Behind Aagadu Failure!
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Sep 2014 10:52 AM GMTSuperstar Mahesh Babu's Aagadu was released on last Friday and the film opened up with negative talk. Though the film started with ground breaking openings but it was not able to survive at the box-office due to negative talk.It looks highly unlikely for the movie to cross the budget it has been made; some trade analysts are of the opinion that it could collect in the Rs 40 crores range and nothing more than that.
Now people started analyzing what goes wrong with Aagadu. If we clearly observe the movie Aaagdu is not at all a ‘headache’ movie and it has its own pros and cons. But all are speaking about the drawbacks by leaving the positives behind.
Raviteja starrer Power which was having same level of content as Aagadu proved as a decent grosser but the Mahesh starrer turned as dud.Analaysts were on opinion that the hype created by Aagadu makers effected the film very badly.Despite knowing the content and worth of the film makers created full hype on the movie and publicized it as ‘’Never Before an Never after ‘’ kind of film.
In fact, these publicity techniques have damaged the BO verdict of ‘Aagadu’ as the expectations were not met in reality. Fans also kept high hopes on the film and always compared it with Dookudu movie thus caused further disappointment.Though Mahesh characterization looked fresh it went unnoticed due to routine story.
Openings are easily guaranteed for a mahesh babu film and there is no need to do unnecessary promotions. So, Aagadu is a lesson on budget calling for producers and/or so called super star casts. If their common sense do not prevail at least after this movie debacle the film industry is going to go into losses.
