Tamil Fans who had thoroughly enjoyed Vijay & Jyothika's blockbuster 'Kushi' (2000) were thrilled to know this deadly combo is back again. However, Their happiness didn't last for longer as Nithya Menon replayed Jyothika within days after the shoot of #Vijay61 began.
Reportedly, Jyothika herself opted out of the biggie as she wasn't happy with the way Director Atlee (Raja Rani fame) has etched her character. She was also wary of the Kajal & Samantha's presence, and the screen time they gonna have. All these factors played a role here!
Nithya Menon, on the other hand, have no qualms what-so-ever making special appearances. Most importantly, She trusts Atlee's vision and his calibre as a Director. In the past, Nithya has come out with flying colors doing small but significant roles in '24' and 'Janatha Garage'. Vijay61 could be yet another memorable film in her career.
