Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for his upcoming movie 'Maharshi' in New York. He was also supposed to attend a fundraising event there on October 27th.
But, the event was called off because of low ticket sales. The high ticket rates are the reason behind tickets not getting sold. In fact, Mahesh Babu has a massive fan following not only in Telugu states but also in the overseas as well. His movies perform exceptionally well in overseas as well. If the ticket price was affordable, so many people would have attended the fund-raising event. But because of their high prices, the event got cancelled. Interestingly, the company has given a strange reason for the cancellation. They claimed that the event wasn't cancelled but postponed due to security reasons.
Mahesh Babu has agreed to the event two months ago and his team has already prepared a lengthy AV to exhibit there. If they haven't got the clearance from the authorities yet, why they brought Maheshâs staff from India? So, with their strange reason, it became evident that the event got cancelled because of insufficient sales.
