Why Nannaku Prematho Makers apologised?
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Jan 2016 10:45 AM GMTOne of the posters of NTR starrer 'Nannaku Prematho' didn't go down well with a section of people. A huge bike rally was conducted by the Muslim community against the movie in Banjara Hills on Saturday. Slogans were raised against NTR by the protesters on their way to the Censor Board office in Masab Tank. They have given a representation to Censor Board officials seeking action against the makers and also lodged a complaint against the makers at Jeedimetla police station.
Soon, 'Nannaku Prematho' Makers rectified the mistake by issuing a press release and modified poster. Terming the poster design was just an accident and wasn't intended to hurt any one, The Press Note reads: 'We respect the religious sentiments of the community and have replaced the image with a new one. We offer an unconditional apology to the members of the community for any offense caused to religious sentiments because of the background image. We have never been against any community, nor do we bear any ill will towards any community'.
Luckily, Producers sorted out the issue before it went out of control else it could have been resulted in a huge damage.
