Why Vijay Signed NOTA?
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Sep 2018 4:08 AM GMTVijay Devarakonda, the happening hero in Tollywood, is all excited about his Tamil debut. Anand Shankar, the director of Vikram's Irumugan, teamed up with Gnanvel Raja of Studio Green banner for an exciting project titled as NOTA, a political thriller majorly targeted at Tamilnadu politics. Though the makers claim the movie to be bilingual, the film mostly appears to be a dubbed version of the Tamil movie. The film is already facing controversy for not crediting the Telugu writer Shashank Vennelakanti, and we just got to know that there is a unique backstory behind the project getting shaped up.
It is common to expect that any political film to indirectly support a local or national party. The film NOTA was also made on the same lines. The film happens to be a political drama surrounding the elections and the lead protagonist Vijay finally becomes a chief minister and then the movie comes to an end. If the reports from the Tamil media are believed to be true, the film is going to be a tool for the political campaigning of DMK leader Stalin who is hungry for becoming CM.
The political sources in Tamilnadu indicate that the character of Vijay in the film is said to have got weaved along the lines of Stalin's. Vijay Devarakonda is said to have known this fact and he seemed to have no objection for the same.
The movie is gearing up for a grand release on 5th October in both Telugu and Tamil.
