Pushing the Tollywood film industry into a sad state, Krishnam Raju passed away on Sunday at a private hospital undergoing treatment. The last rites of the actor-producer were concluded just a while ago. The last rites were held at a farmhouse. His body was taken to the farmhouse from his residence.
Uppalapati Prabodh's elder brother of Rebel Star Prabhas lit the pyre. It is said that the media was not allowed inside the last rites site of Krishnam Raju. The family members released the pictures from the last rites to the media.
As expected earlier, fans attended the last rites in big numbers to bid the last goodbye to their matinee idol. The funeral was held at a farmhouse. Before the funeral was held, personalities from the entertainment and political worlds paid floral tributes to Krishnam Raju.
It is known that the Telangana government announced that Krishnam Raju will be laid to rest with state honours. The Chief Secretary took care of the arrangements and he received a goodbye with the honours.
