Putting an end to a glorious era, rebel star Krishnam Raju breathed his last earlier today at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Due to various health issues, he developed a cardiac arrest and he left us. The industry suffered a big loss with his demise and the Tollywood fraternity is mourning his demise.

Now it is said that the family members are in plans to arrange for his last rites tomorrow. Given his popularity and stature, a massive crowd is expected to pay a tribute to him and offer the last goodbye. Monday will see the hero and former Union Minister getting a teary goodbye from the family and fans. However, there is no update on the venue of the last rites.

The Telangana government which enjoys a strong bonding with the Telugu industry came forward to conduct the last rites of Krishnam Raju with full state honors. Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar reportedly received the concerned directives from the state government.

Conducting the last rites with state honours is a bid to honour the personality in the best way possible. Police will fire bullets in the air while bidding the last goodbye. A few celebrities across the languages received state honours in their states.

With the state government planning to conduct the last rites with state honours, the concerned authorities are busy making the required arrangements. A lot of arrangements go into the event as the crowd is expected to attend the event in big numbers. The Tollywood film fraternity will be present at the event obviously.

Krishnam Raju is one of the top heroes and saw great heights in his career. He is fondly called Rebel star by fans and movie lovers. He has a successful stint in films as well. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and went on to serve as the Union Cabinet Minister. He won as a Lok Sabha member from Andhra Pradesh.

"Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao has directed the Chief Secretary, Mr. Somesh Kumar, to conduct the last rites of his dearest friend and former Union Minister Mr. Krishnam Raju with official ceremonies. CS Somesh Kumar will make arrangements as per CM's orders," Telangana Chief Minister's Office took to Twitter to say this.
