Veteran actress Rekha ruled the roost in Hindi Film Industry during the 80s. But, She had her share of bad experiences after foraying into the films.
'Rekha: The Untold Story', a book based on the life of this Bollywood Starlet, is creating a sensation after Filmmaker Nikita Deshpande shared an incident which took place when Rekha was a teenager.
During the first schedule of 'Anjana Safar' at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai, Male Lead Biswajeet and Director Kuljeet Pal decided to film a romantic scene but they didn't pass the information to Rekha. Soon after the Direction shouted 'Action', Biswajeet took Rekha into his arms and locked lips with her in a forcible manner. A visibly stunned Rekha tried her best to stop it but Biswajeet didn't let her go. As per the plan, The Filmmaker didn't say 'Cut' and the kiss lasted for around 5 minutes. Unit Members kept clapping and cheering during this period. Whereas, Rekha kept her eyes shut but tears kept rolling down from her cheeks.
