Remaking Korean Films Becomes A New Trend!
By: Tupaki Desk | 13 Jan 2020 11:38 AM GMTRemakes are not new to Tollywood but our makers seem to be focused more on picking up subjects from Korean films these days. Especially Suresh Productions are showing interest in Korean remakes. As we know, Suresh Babu remade Korean film 'Miss Granny' as 'Oh! Baby' and scored a good hit. The film turned out to be a money-spinner at the box-office.
Sources say that he is planning on remaking another Korean film titled 'Midnight Runners' in Telugu. This film is about two male ruthless cops but Suresh Babu reportedly decided to turn it into a female-centric subject by casting two actresses in the lead. Apparently, Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra were impressed with the script and okayed it.
'Swamy Ra Ra' director Sudheer Varma who is working on 'Andhadhun' remake will be handling this remake too as per sources.
Suresh Babu will produce this flick along with Sunil Tati and this flick is expected to go on floors from next month. Further details may be revealed soon.
