What's Next Reshmi?

Anchors like Pradeep, Ravi Kiran, Sreemukhi, Sudheer, Anasuya and Reshmi are ruling the roost on TV with different programs and they are treated as stars among the anchors as they are able to draw in maximum TRP ratings.

Reshmi unlike others who started off with TV, tried her luck in films as a character artist and as she was unable to find a good break, she decided to start a new career on TV as hot/ anchor.

Jabardasth gave her a good platform to get popular and she tried her luck again in films. This time, she got the main lead roles and did films like Guntur Talkies that promoted her as a beauty queen than a good actress.

She did accept few films for connections and now, her film, Anthaku Minchi that released last Friday did not gain any traction from audience even though she did not object for skin show and intimate scenes.

Well, people seem to have no interest in looking at her glamour and want her to concentrate on acting like her friend and co-anchor, Anasuya. The senior anchor and actress managed to attract audience with Kshanam and Rangasthalam movies.

We have to wait and see, if Reshmi can understand the change in mindset of the audience and plan her career, accordingly.
