Retrospection Time For Sai Dharam Tej
X
Mega Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej is a promising talent from the mega family. Having made his debut as a lead in the film Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, the actor has tasted his first biggest hit with the film Subramanyam For Sale. Subramanyam For Sale has given him the commercial hero tag, and it also gave him the right boost for the career. Continuing the success form, Sai Dharam starred in Supreme which went on to become another big hit. Supreme released in 2016, and since then, Sai Dharam did not score another success.

Sai Dharam Tej did five films in more than one and a half year, but no film helped him to grow big as a commercial hero or as a performer. After Supreme, Sai Dharam Tej did films like Thikka, Winner, Nakshatram, Jawan and Inttelligent. All the five movies are commercial movies but failed to impress because of several reasons. One primary reason that contributed to the failure of all the movies is the routineness in the story-telling and treatment. Sai Dharam Tej's poor taste in the selection of the scripts was evident with all his last five films.

With Inttelligent, the public formed an opinion that Sai Dharam Tej is taking his fans, audiences and the movie lovers for granted. This view is undoubtedly bringing a negative image to the actor and can also become a threat to his career. A few genuine followers of Sai Dharam Tej have an opinion that the time has come for the actor to retrospect his career. The retrospection certainly helps the actor to come up with exciting subjects in the future.

The actor has currently three films in the pipeline. The first one is in the direction of Karunakaran which is inspired by a Hollywood movie titled The Vow. In the current times, the inspirations/free makes are not helping the actors, and the film is also carrying least buzz. Another film is with Gopichand Malineni. Earlier, the combination delivered 'Winner' which is a flop. Hence, there is negativity around this combination. The third one is in the direction of Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. A film with Yeleti is always considered as an experiment, and it is always good to do experiments only after scoring one or two hits so that the impact of the film's result will be less on the actor's market.

In this scenario, Sai Dharam Tej should re-consider his selection of movies and think of doing a romantic film or a proper commercial potboiler. Let us hope that Sai Dharam Tej strikes back with a big hit this year.
