RGV Explains The Reason Behind Branding His Films!

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma who once set a trend with films like 'Shiva', 'Kshana Kshanam' and others is now stooped down to making controversial films that are based on real-life incidents and horror films with adult content. He is not even directing films only producing them. All he is doing now is to market his films by hook or crook.
Most of his films in recent times are directed by others but there is a brand called, "A Ram Gopal Varma Film" on every film despite him not being the director. RGV tried to explain the reason behind this by stating that he selects the story and adds a lot of input. He added that he decides upon the narration and then hands over the project to a young director. He even said that he puts 'A Ram Gopal Varma Film' on his every production because his name has more brand value and is saleable to the buyers.
Coming to his next film, he said that he is making film on Asha Rapists. Varma reportedly spoke with a lot of police officers while readying the script and we need to see how that film turns out. A lot of Ram Gopal Varma films that created big controversy with the trailer have not been released till date due to various reasons. People are still waiting for them to hit the screens.
