'God, Sex and Truth' was supposed to release on January 26th. Much to everyone's surprise, RGV delayed the release citing technical issues. This led to the discussion whether Varma is scared of the hue & cry of Women Organizations and Social Activists. Or if there is really a technical issue?
Kathi Mahesh responded on the wild reactions to 'GST' - 'We need to take notice of the facts. India is 3rd Highest Watcher of Porn. 28 out 100 People watching Porn in the country are Women. 50 percent of Online Transactions took place because of Pornographic Sites. Last year, Centre blocked 1,400 sites overnight. Within 2 days, They became active again. This is something uncontrollable. Studies revealed Porn leads to loss of concentration and temporary impotency. If Govt can't control, At least it should have regulated it. When there are thousands of Porn videos available, What is the need to make an issue about Varma's film without even knowing if its porn or nudity. Unduly we are giving importance to RGV. On Twitter, He have 3 million follower. There are more followers for TV Channel. Which means we are just multiplying the audience. Ignore him, why do you give him importance unnecessarily?'.
If its a strategic movie, Possibility of RGV releasing 'GST' all of sudden can't be ruled out. Don't you think Varma could do that?
