Tollywood actress Shalu Chourasiya who complained about phone snatching and assault incident earlier last week near the KBR park had addressed the media to narrate her horrific experience and provided details on what happened on the incident day. She said that she was attacked by an unidentified person when he was returning from the park.

In the words of the actress, she went for a walk near the KBR Park on the 14th of this time. She went in the evening and completed her walk. As she was using earphones she did not see that a man was approaching her from the backside. All of a sudden the unidentified man caught her.

The actress alleged that the attacker attacked her. After he pushed her on a rock, she lost consciousness for one or two seconds and the attacker tried to molest her. She gained her consciousness and started to shout. However, a cloth was tufted into her mouth and she could not scream for help.

Shalu Chourasiya told the media that the attacker held her from the back and demanded money. She told the attacker that she would give the money and asked him to not hit her. On the pretext of sending money on Google Pay, she dialed 100. When she dialed 100 for the second time, the attacker saw this and assaulted her.

The actress added that she barely missed the attack as he tried to throw a rock at her. With a lot of effort, I escaped from the situation by jumping off the fence at the park. I am requesting that electric lights should be set up at the park and women should carry pepper spray with them whenever they come out, Shalu Chourasiya added.

She also showered praises on the Police for their efforts in nabbing the accused in the case and said, she is happy with their efforts. They responded quickly to the situation. I am requesting the cops to look for my mobile phone and gold ring, she said. As there were no CCTV cameras at the park, the police teams are looking for the footage recorded by CCTV at the nearby places.
