Mega director Shankar's latest movie is "Robo 2.0" and he has Superstar Rajnikanth playing the dual role of scientist and robo yet again. Bollywood biggie Akshay Kumar will be seen as an evil robot while Amy Jackson is the heroine of the film. Here is an interesting snippet.
Makers of Robo 2.0 have allotted nearly 100 crores budget just for the visual effects of the film. Even a bigger project like Baahubali: The Conclusion got their VFX done below 30 crores, but it's a wonder that Shankar is spending like 100 crores for the graphics work.
Anyway, the 100 crores not just CG work but also the special makeup effects.
