2.O Crosses Baahubali 2 Record

Superstar Rajinikanth and maverick director Shankar have teamed up again for an interesting as well as an exciting visual extravaganza, titled, â2.0â This is a sequel to their earlier hit Robo. In terms of the budget, the film is said to be the biggest project in South India. There were always the reports that Baahubali 2 is the only project which could compete with 2.O in terms of the collections, budget and technicalities.
The latest update is that the film 2.O achieved a new record by crossing âBahubali 2â by a massive margin with a connection to Kerala distribution rights. 2.O's Kerala theatrical rights have been snapped by a leading distribution firm for a whopping Rs 16 Cr. Earlier, Baahubali 2 rights were snapped by 10.5 Cr. Rajinikanth has a great craze in Kerala state and the distributors are hoping easy profits in the state.
Directed by Shankar, the film 2.O is produced by Lyca Productions. The film is scheduled for a grand release on April 27, 2018.
