2.O Budget - It's Not A Lie!

2.O' has been projected as the costliest film ever made on Indian Screen. Yes, It's very much true but the budget isn't either Rs 500 crore or Rs 550 crore as that being speculated widely.
Bollywood Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh made it clear '2.O' was made with a budget of Rs 400 crore. This include the additional cost incurred for replacing the below par VFX with high-quality output. In his recent interview to a reviewer, Shankar himself disclosed: 'Visual Effects is the reason behind the long day in the release of '2.O'. VFX Company kept pushing the deadline and wasted almost one year. We decided to end the contract and approached another VFX Company for the desired output. This is a time consuming & very expensive process'.
Considering the market of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, Recovering a budget of anywhere around Rs 500 crore won't be impossible if '2.O' hits the bull's eye. The Hindi Version to be released by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is expected to be a money spinner just alike 'Baahubali'.
Satellite Rights of '2.O' were sold out for a whooping Rs 80 crore. LYCA Productions will make table profits with this sci-fi flick considering the huge craze in the business circles. Theatrical Trailer will be unveiled on November 3rd, 2018.
