2.0 Making Video: Is This A Gimmick?

It is rare to see Superstar Rajini working on two films simultaneously. He has done it for Shankar directorial '2.0'.. and Pa Ranjith movie 'Kaala'. We all know that '2.0' was supposed to hit the screens long back but it has been postponed because of delay in post-production works. Meanwhile, 'Kaala' producer Dhanush is trying to cash on the season by releasing 'Kaala' on April 27.
'Kaala' teaser was out recently and it received a mixed response. Dhanush is seriously trying close the business as soon as possible because the movie didn't have the craze like '2.0'. Meanwhile, a making video of '2.0' is doing rounds in the social media. It doesn't appear to be a leaked video because it has good clarity and neatly cut video of 1 minute 17 seconds. The video consists of the making of action sequences of Akshay Kumar. Even a few scenes of Amy Jackson also present in the video.
The audience are wondering why '2.0' makers resorting to such publicity stunts now. There is no clarity on the release date of '2.0'. Kollywood reports are saying that the release may be pushed to 2019 Pongal. In such a scenario, what is the purpose of leaking this video? To increase hype on 'Kaala'?
