Rowdy's Caption On His New Song Sparks Controversy!

With the release date fast approaching, the team of 'Liger' is releasing one song after the other. After unveiling songs like 'Akdi Pakdi' and 'Waat Laga Denge', the third song came out on Saturday morning. The song is titled 'Aafat' and it is getting good number of views. The chemistry between the lead pair is amazing and Ananya dominated with her glamour treat in beach locations.
While the song is doing well, the caption used by Vijay Deverakonda for it has triggered the sentiments of a few. Describing about the song, the 'Arjun Reddy' hero wrote, "There’s always a beautiful drama queen who will come between a mother and son."
A few people in North India are offended by it. A netizen wrote, "How are these pseudo feminist comments still being allowed? He is clearly humiliating his love interest." Another person took to social media and tweeted, "Well, he did a film like Arjun Reddy and validated soft violence on women, what better can we expect from him?" Another tweet reads, "This guy is actually so problematic he keeps defending his arjun reddy and yet bollywood keeps pushing him on everyone."
A lot of people came in his defense too and stated that it is just a caption hinting at the storyline of the film and one shouldn't read too much in between them. While this debate is getting heated up on social media, there are some people who are pointing out that this is ending up as free promotion for 'Liger' which is releasing on 25th August. It is Vijay's debut film in Hindi and Puri Jagannadh directed it.
