RP Patnaik says he was insulted by Teja!
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 May 2017 4:53 AM GMTCinematographer turned director and writer, Teja has a knack of introducing fine talents to industry and he gave RP Patnaik his first chance as a music director with his film, Chitram. The movie became a sensational hit and RP started collaborating with Teja.
They became a hit pair with films like Nuvvu Nenu, Jayam and Nijam. After Nijam, they both came together for the movie, Aunanna Kadanna and afterwards they stopped collaborating with each other. The music director turned actor and director did not mince words when he asked for the reason in his latest interview. The composer said, he was hurt by Teja's comments during the movie. In his own words, the music composer explained what transpired between them; "I never demanded any remuneration from my producers. I accepted whatever they gave and stopped giving music when they felt I am being burden on their projects. I always respect Teja, but when we last collaborated for Aunanna Kadanna, the producer gave me very less as remuneration and when I asked Teja about it, he simply said understand your position today!
That comment did hurt my feelings and I announced that I did not want to continue giving music anymore. I don't hold any hard feelings against Teja and I respect him even today. I wish him well and whenever I happen to meet him, I greet him cordially." Well, even Teja was not in best possible position during the day and him passing such a sly comment on others seems too hypocritical, what do you say?
