SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali – The Beginning' took the Hindi audience by surprise. The visual extravaganza blew their minds away and the twist at the end left them very curious. Despite not-so-great promotions, the film managed to get 150 crores in North India just through word-of-mouth publicity.

The hype given by 'Baahubali – The Beginning' worked wonders for 'Baahubali – The Conclusion' in Hindi. The 'Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali' campaign worked out well and people flocked to theatres to watch the second part. It turned out to be a massive hit earning 400 crores with the Hindi dubbed version alone.

The success of 'Baahubali – 2' was because of the hype created by 'Baahubali 1' and that is not the case with 'RRR'. Except for the brand of 'Baahubali' director Rajamouli, the film had no other pull since NTR is a new face to Hindi cinema while Charan's maiden Bollywood project was a disaster by epic proportions.

This is the reason why the film was sold for not a not-so-heavy rate and the makers did a lot of promotions for almost two months in North India.

All the promotions worked wonders as the film got around 20 crores on the first day. It may be less compared to the first-day collections of 'Baahubali 2' but 'RRR' witnessed a rise in the bookings. The movie got 24 crores on the second day and minted up to 31 crores on Sunday. These are very encouraging numbers as the film got 74 crores in the first weekend.

Since the talk is highly positive, the collections are expected to continue in the same manner and it is expected to earn a lot of profits for the buyers. However, there is a talk that it may not cross 'Baahubali' collections in Hindi. Everyone will be happy as long as the profits are good. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.

NTR was seen Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju in this massive film which is set in the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. 'RRR' is produced by DVV Danayya over a budget of over 400 crores.

The lead actors delivered stupendous performances and MM Keeravani is the music composer who is one of the main pillars in the film's success. Alia Bhatt is playing the role of Sita in this film while Ajay Devgn appears in a brief role. Olivia Morris is also a part of the film and she looked very cute.
