RRR's makers to approach Court against AP govt?
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Nov 2021 11:36 AM ISTFor the past few days, we have been hearing that the makers of Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Jr NTRâs RRR will be approaching the high court against the cinema ticket pricing restriction imposed by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
Today, DVV Entertainments, who are bankrolling the project have issued an official announcement in the context of these widespread speculations.
"It is true that the slashing of ticket prices will affect our film immensely. But we at #RRRMovie have no intention of going to court. We are trying to approach the honourable Andhra Pradesh CM garu and explain our situation for an amicable solution." The statement from the makers of RRR read.
Notably, DVV Danayya has also been in touch with the government of Andhra Pradesh and discussing the ticket prices issue. So, we can expect him to hold a further round of talks with the Jagan-led government. Approaching the court seems to be out of question.
