Entire India has been waiting for the film and the way the tickets were filled tells us the story of the craze and buzz the film owns. Starting overseas, the film has been getting a positive response.
Theatres have been decorated in a big way and the fans of NTR Jr and Ram Charan are celebrating the occasion of the arrivals of their matinee idols like a festival. Benefit shows were held by the fans' associations.
An unfortunate incident was reported related to RRR as a fan had breathed his last while watching the film. Media reports say that one Obulesu, who hails from Anantapur had attended the benefit show during the early hours of Friday. While watching the film, he collapsed.
His friends reacted quickly and shifted him to a nearby hospital for treatment. Sadly, their efforts did not pay off as he died midway to the hospital. His family and friends are mourning his sudden demise. It is said that he is a heart patient and has undergone surgery for his condition.
In one more unfortunate incident, three people lost their lives while going for a benefit show of RRR. The road mishap was reportedly from Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor. While three fans were heading towards the theatre, the bikes they were traveling reportedly collided with a vehicle coming from the opposite side resulting in a disaster.
Talking about RRR, Rajamouli should be appreciated for bringing two big names from Telugu Cinema NTR Jr and Ram Charan together for the film. The leading men steal the show with their spell-bound performances. NTR and Ram Charan stepped into the roles of revolutionaries Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju.
The heroes have acted so well that we cannot imagine others for the role other than them. Whenever we talk about the characters, their images flash in our minds. Alia Bhatt has paired opposite Ram Charan Tej in Sita's role and Olivia Morris is the other female lead. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Rajiv Kanakala and Samuthirakani. RRR was bankrolled by Danayya under his DVV Entertainments.
