In an interesting development the sequel for Rajamouli Jr NTR and Ram Charans RRR is very much on cards now. There are reports claiming that Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story for RRR is working on the storyline for the sequel as well. Related back-end works have been initiated already.

RRR is based on the fictional journey of two legendary freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film ends when the two legendary personalities leave for the fight for freedom.

The sequel might be based on the individual fights Bheem and Rama Raju raise while on their freedom fight. This is just a vague speculation for now and nothing is consolidated for now.

Rajamouli has never worked on a sequel till now and it remains to be seen if he will be doing it for the first time for RRR now. For those saying Baahubali it is a 2 part film from the onset and it is not a prequel sequel project. But it would also mean that Jr NTR and Ram Charan will have to allot another 2 3 years for the sequel which is a debatable equation.

First RRR will have to hit the silver screens across the globe which is scheduled to happen on the 28h of April this year. The idea of the sequel will ultimately depend on the box office performance of RRR. If the film goes on to become a solid money spinner at the box office we can expect the prospect of the sequel to gain momentum. As mentioned earlier nothing is for certain for now.

RRR is the most anticipated film in India now and it is expected to set the box office on fire when it arrives in theatres across the globe on the 28th of April. The heavy duty action thriller is riding high on buzz already and it is said to be one of the costliest projects ever to be made in the history of Indian cinema. We need to wait and see if the talk about the sequel will actually be happening. But what is for certain is that this film will not materialize in the foreseeable future.
