'RRR' Sets A Massive Record On Netflix!

Top director SS Rajamouli's magnum opus film 'RRR' is a staggering hit. The pan-Indian film which was released on 25th March created a huge euphoria. The movie turned out to be the biggest opener in India by grossing 223 crores on the first day itself. The movie crossed 1100 crores at the box office. It got 250+ crores in the Hindi market alone. But the international recognition for this film came when it came out on the OTT platforms.
While ZEE5 bought the rights for all South Indian languages, Netflix bagged the Hindi streaming rights. The moment it was made digitally available, 'RRR' got a thunderous response on Netflix and it was viewed not just by the Indian audience but the people across the globe. Now, the film has set an unprecedented record on the popular digital platform. Rajamouli's gigantic film managed to be on trending charts for 14 consecutive weeks without fail. This is a massive achievement and no other film whether it is English or any other film has managed to stay that long.
This record was held by 'Red Notice' which featured big names like Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson in the lead. It was on top for 12 weeks and 'RRR' has easily overtaken it. As it is known, the film has become a huge rage and the western world is loving the scale and brilliance of Rajamouli. They were split into groups on social media like #TeamRam and #TeaBheem which explains the impact both NTR and Charan left on them. There is a discussion that the film may even get noticed in the Oscar nominations. We need to wait and see what happens there.

The lead actors delivered stupendous performances and MM Keeravani is the music composer who is one of the main pillars in the film's success. Alia Bhatt is playing the role of Sita in this film while Ajay Devgn appears in a brief role. Olivia Morris is also a part of the film and she looked very cute.
Apart from a few noted Hollywood actors, 'RRR' has actors like Shriya Saran, Rajeev Kanakala, Samuthirakani and others did key roles. NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju in this massive film which is set in the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. Both of them are enjoying the humongous success of this pan-Indian film. Senthil Kumar is the director of photography while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Srinivas Mohan is the VFX supervisor for this huge project. Rama Rajamouli is the costume designer.
