Rudhramadevi Run Time Locked

'Rudramadevi' completed Censor formalties few days ago and obtained an U/A Certificate. As expected, The historical flick had a long run time of 158 minutes.
Off late, We have seen a lot of films facing the wrath of audience for having a nearly 3 hours long run time. Rarely does films with run time over 150 minutes receive positive response. May be, Either Gunasekhar hasn't learnt anything from his past failures or he is very much confident about his product.
Postponement of 'Rudramadevi' from October 9th to November or December isn't a big surprise for film folks after seeing repeated change of release dates since April 2015. The major reason behind shift from Oct 9th is big releases such as 'Bruce Lee' (Oct 16th) and 'Akhil' (Oct 22nd) in the line-up. A window of 1 Week isn't sufficient for a big-budgeted film like 'Rudramadevi' to recover the huge investment (Rs 70 crore). Hence, The postponement is justified and its actually a good move
